Just finished this handsome little Gerastos granulosus trilobite from Morocco. Gerastos trilobites are fairly common to see at nearly every fossil market on earth but they’re usually not prepared at this level of detail and care. Typically you see these guys with a ‘slash n burn’ style of prep that destroys the shell and finer details. I prepped this one to have the genal spines free of matrix.
